[note color=”#FFE4C4″]Since I’m wearing a bright purple and hot pink anarkali, I’m probably going to do a look similar to the last one – neutral eyes (with a touch of gold) and a stained deep pink lip! What about you? What outfit are you going to wear for Diwali?[/note]

Hi Ankita, I loved the purple eye makeup and Kareena Kapoor sangeet ceremony one the most. I have a doubt, with brown and purple eyeshadows which colors of lipstick we can wear. I always end up looking like a christmas tree with all the colors smeared on my face. I want to look simple and elegant!

Hey Nisha, when wearing brown eye shadows, you can pretty much pull off any color but my favorites are dusty corals and browns or brick shades – wear any warm shade that looks soft and neutral against your skin tone. I like Maybelline moisture extreme Buff, MAC Brick-o-la and Faces Moisture extreme Fiery Orange (Reviewed recently).

For purples, wear brownish pinks like Colorbar Naked Pink or Revlon Colorburst Rosy Nude.

      Hope this helps!

Same pinch…Im wearing a dark purple + fuchsia + gold anarkali too for Diwali tomorrow and am thinking of doing simple gold/bronze eyes and bright berry/fuchsia lips.

BTW, you are so pretty Ankita that you look stunning no matter which look you do 🙂

Wish you a very Happy Diwali and a Wonderful New Year!!! Cheers.

Looking great in all the snaps ankita. I’ll be wearing a grey saree with a maroon border. So might do a soft smoky black eye look with neutral lips ( tinted taupe) or make use of my bad to bronze for a neutral eye and statement lips with candy apple. Silver jumkas, necklace and bangles are my matching jewelry 🙂 happy diwali to you
