The weather is getting colder as we officially enter winters (though it hardly feels so in Mumbai) but if you’re still craving for a warm summery coral-orange blush, read on further. Today I’m reviewing Deborah Milano powder blush in Paprika!

My take on the Product
Deborah hi-tech powder blushes come in a simple plastic packaging with a black base and transparent cover. The underside of the packaging contains a brush which is a bit scratchy but can be handy for touch ups. I’m not a fan of the packaging, it feel it could have been a little nicer, it reminds me of NYX packaging.
The blush looks like baked blush in appearance, it got a powdery soft texture and there can be some fall out during application if you don’t use a soft brush. It is nicely pigmented so you don’t need to pack it on for it to show. It blends very easily, with barely any effort and stays on for 6+ hours easily. If you use with a slight heavy hand, it lasts over 8 hours. Formula-wise, I find it really nice and easy to use! Except for the fall out part, its excellent!
The shade Paprika is a dusty coral-orange shade with a very soft sheen which is barely discernible. The shade has just a little bit of pink in it though you can see barely see it in the swatch or on the cheeks in the pictures. But in person, it doesn’t look as starkly warm as it does here. I think its a lovely shade for Indian skin, especially duskier skin. Even on lighter skin, it will not look too brown or muddy but will give a nice warm flush of color!
The GOOD about Deborah Milano Powder blush no. 58 Paprika :
- Comes with a brush
- Soft, smooth texture
- Good pigmentation
- Blends easily
- Good staying power
- Shade will suit light as well as dusky skin tones
- Soft sheen – doesn’t highlight imperfections
The NOT-SO-GOOD about Deborah Milano Powder blush no. 58 Paprika :
- Has some fall out in the pan (powdery texture)
- Packaging could be nicer
Overall Verdict
Deborah Milano Powder blush no. 58 Paprika is a dusty coral-orange blush with a soft texture, good pigmentation and good staying power. I find the formula quite easy and effortless to use, it blends easily and stays well. The shade would work across skin tones without washing out duskier beauties or looking muddy on paler skin. I just wish the packaging was nicer, its not as cheap as the packaging makes it look!
Rating : 4.5/5

btw I am not able to see your latest reviews, whenever I click on corallista’s site I see your 30/10 wala page
any idea why that might be happening?
Wow… i like this shae on you.
Have u colored ur hair Ankita??
Me likey likey the colour.. btw, is there any shimmer to it?
Hey ankita, could you do a few college makeup tutorials…like stuff that you would personally wear to college. Also, could you share how you do the lighting, etc for your photos. I would really appreciate it if you could do a post on that.
Hey Manu, I’ll try to do a college tutorial though the problem is that I need to wear slightly heavier makeup like medium to full coverage foundation/thicker liner etc. for the pictures to come out well and that kind of makeup is not college appropriate.
As for the lighting, I don’t have any equipment. I just take my picture in natural light facing a large window or balcony. I use the Auto mode in my camera, it gives the best results.
Oh, wow, your photos are so clear that I assumed you must have some sort of light setup
I have the exact color in a much cheaper dupe by Incolor..
Very very pretty Ankita
Loved your look….I have always stayed away from Oranges / Corals but your reviews are making me rethink over the same….
BTW..what are you wearing on your lips…I wanna so much buy it !!!
