My take on the Product
Avon Senses Lagoon shower gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with the hook at the top end and a flip open cap at the bottom end. I love the clean aqua blue color of the shower gel, it is in keeping with the clean, refreshing scent and gives it a very attractive look. The only downside of the packaging is that it cannot be stored vertically on a shelf. You either need to hang it from the hook or lay it down horizontally. The shower gel is slightly runny in consistency and lathers well though not excessively so like foamy gels. It cleans the skin well without drying it out. I don’t have particularly dry skin on my body and it doesn’t change the hydration level of my skin.

It has a very refreshing minty, aquatic scent which I absolutely love. It is neither too strong nor too mild, just enough that you know you’ve just used a great smelling product. The scent vanishes from the skin soon after the bath which is good – it won’t interfere with your perfume but the bathroom has a soft, lingering scent for hours afterwards which I find quite pleasant. I love balanced, marine scents in my shower gels and this one is perfect. There is nothing overpowering or very different about this scent so I think it should appeal to many. If you like fresh fragrances, you will definitely love this one! The only con I can think of – the packaging! I would have preferred a bottle I could store on a shelf.
Rating : 4.5/5
