Today I’m reviewing a beautiful deep pink lipgloss from the newly launched MAC Heavenly Creatures collection.
Price : Rs 1400 for 2.7 g
My take on the Product
MAC Cremesheen glass comes in a long, slim tube with a regular doe foot applicator. The packaging is simple and modern, just like all other MAC products. The doe foot applicator picks up enough product to cover the lips in a sheer wash of color. It also applies the color evenly and uniformly.
MAC Cremesheen glass formula is has sheer to medium coverage, feels rich and comfortable on the lips and is very moisturizing. It fills out the lip lines to give a smooth, healthy, plumped look to the lips. The consistency is neither too thin nor too thick and they feel absolutely non–sticky on the lips. Even though the staying power is not a lot, the experience of using the Cremesheens glasses is very luxurious, they are superbly hydrating and forgiving on the driest of lips and the glossy finish is glamorous without looking too shiny. The lip gloss has the classic MAC Vanilla fragrance.
Priced at Rs 1400 (Limited edition is more expensive than Permanent line) for a mere 2.7 g is expensive but I had my eyes on this one since it had launched in the U.S and I know its a shade I can actually finish up!
Galaxy Rose is a beautiful deep rose pink, almost raspberry pink containing no shimmer or pearl. The coverage is medium so the color doesn’t look too intense. I find sheer raspberry shades very flattering on my skin tone and this is the kind of shade that I can wear with almost anything. This range has lots of pretty glosses and I had a hard time picking just one. The shimmer–free formula tipped the scales in favor of Galaxy Rose. I think this would make a lovely pink for duskier skin tones while the color may look a bit brighter on lighter skin tones.
Its one of my personal favorites and I keep this tube on my desk and use this anytime I am not testing a lip product. It instantly adds life to my face and tons of moisture to my lips. It wears off significantly with heavier meals but with just snacks and drinks, it stays for a little over 3 hours on my lips.
Highly recommended to everyone!

The NOT-SO-GOOD about MAC Heavenly Creatures Cremesheen Glass Galaxy Rose :

MAC Cremesheen Glass Galaxy Rose is a beautiful deep rose pink creamy lip gloss that is very hydrating and comforting on the lips. The medium coverage formula tones down the color, making it very easy to wear for all skin tones. The non-sticky feel, the hydration and the juicy, glossy finish make this a treat to use. If you like non-sticky, hydrating lip glosses and don’t mind touching up after 3 hours, you will love the MAC Cremesheen glasses!
