Today I’m reviewing a lovely bright pink lipstick from Inglot ~ shade no. 234! I wish Inglot products had names instead of just numbers, a name gives so much identity to the color and makes it easier to remember! I would have called this pretty one Watermelon Daiquiri!
Price : Rs 550
My take on the product
Inglot lipsticks come in sleek glossy black tube packaging. The bullet has a sturdy base which does not wobble while swivelling the bullet in and out. I love the contrast of the red and the black in this particular shade. The packaging has the words INGLOT inscribed on the cap. The texture of this lipstick is creamy and rich. The pigmentation is amazing and you get rich intense color in a single swipe. The formula is moisturizing and the finish is glossy without being overly shiny. I absolutely love these kind of finishes which give a plump and healthy look to the lips.
Because of the intense pigmentation, its stains and hence lasts a good 5-6 hours leaving a strong stain behind. I experienced a little bit of bleeding and patchiness when I had a meal but it can be fixed easily. As a good practice, I should anyway check the lipstick after a meal because most lip colors do either fade or get patchy or catch food particles during meals. After from this little thing, the lipstick formula is flawless! Long wearing without being drying, strong pigmentation and a nice glossy finish.
Inglot lipsticks have a faint fruit fragrance that vanishes some time after application.
The shade 234 is a bright watermelon pink that may look redder on warmer skin tones. I love intense brights and this one is perfect for the summers. I think this shade would work for many complexions – both cool and warm. When I wear it with a pinker blush and cool toned eye makeup, it looks much pinker and when I pair with bronzed cheeks and warm eye shadow, it looks like reddened pink (as worn in this post). My favorite lipsticks are always ones with intense pigments and a soft glossy finish and this one fits the bill perfectly.
Inglot lipsticks – both tubes and refills are excellent value for money , highly recommended!
