Hey everyone!
Continuing with the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Tutorial series, today I am doing a simple bridal/bridesmaid look for the warm toned/dusky skin beauties. It is a simple look ~ defined lined eyes with some brown eye shadow, soft terracotta cheeks with a stained red lip.
Hope you like the look, don’t forget to to share your comments at the end of this post!
Products used for the EYES :
- L’Oreal Paris Infallible Concealer
- L’Oreal Paris Self Advancing eye liner : Ebony
- L’Oreal Paris Infallible eye shadow : Endless Chocolate
- L’Oreal Paris Infallible eye shadow : Hourglass Beige
- L’Oreal Paris Super Liner – Instant Impact Felt liner
- L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara
Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1 : Moisturize/Prime/Conceal. I am using L’Oreal Paris Infallible concealer
Step 2 : Tightline eyes using black kohl.
Step 3 : Apply brown eye shadow Endless Chocolate all over the lid.
Step 4 : Blend the eye shadow in the crease to soften the edges.
Step 5 : Apply eye shadow Hourglass Beige as inner corner highlight and on brow bone as well.
Step 6 : Line upper lash line thinly with the Felt tipped liner. You can wing it out if you like.
Step 7 : Finish off with a coat of Volume Million Lashes Mascara.
After the base makeup is done, fill in your brows.
Products used for the FACE :
- Benefit Cosmetics Girl Meets Pearl Highlighter (as illuminator all over face)
- L’Oreal Paris Infallible Foundation
- Clinique Blended Face Powder
- Bourjois Paris Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (for soft contouring)
- MAC blush : Ambering Rose (apples of the cheeks)
Products used for the LIPS :
For the lips I mixed 2 lipsticks from the L’Oreal Infallible range – a warm apricot shade as base topped with a wine red (using a lip brush). The apricot warmed up the wine shade and also made it a little softer. You could wear the wine red alone too.
- L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lipstick : Always Apricot (Review HERE)
- L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lipstick : Bold Bordeaux (Review HERE)

Gorgeous..totally my kind of look!
very nice look ankita… endless chocolate seems to b ur fav!! I love it to d core!! btw ankita can u pls recommend a black liquid liner (preferably waterproof)? am planning to get either Loreal felt tip liner or chambor dazzle eye liner in black. I like to draw very thin line on my upper lash line which seems to b impossible with pencil liners. so which one to go for?
Hi Isha, the L’Oreal felt tip liner is not waterproof but you can draw v thin lines with it. it is resistant to oil though so it won’t budge if your eye area gets a little oily. Chambor Dazzle liner on the other hand is waterproof but on my oily lids, I see that it transfers a bit to the socket line by the end of the day. Also you cant get a very thin line with it. The best option is to get a gel liner, I’d suggest L’Oreal. The Maybelline one dries up in the pot in a few months.
Best… Liked it n gonna try this. Have a engagement Party this weekend
Wow Ankita it’s jus lovely….gorgeous. Btw can u pls review Bourjois Paris Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder? I can see that u r using it pretty often…..pls review it and do a small tutorial if possible. It will help a beginner like me.
wow!!very nice and easy at the same time, perfect for sum1 like me..thanks ankita.By the way could you do a review on the lakme absolut kohl, which u use in most of your tutorials.
Hey dear …awesome. but can u plz tell that whether u applied Benefit Cosmetics Girl Meets Pearl Highlighter before applying foundation ..or later . And can Revlon skinlights illuminator i( golden light) may be used instead of this… ??
Also give a step by step tutorial for this look (as u give for eyes)..as this is ur best one till date.
I used the Benefit highlighter before applying foundation all over face though generally I use it only on the high points of the face after foundation. Yes you can use Revlon skin lights lotion instead of this too though I’d recommend using only on the cheekbone and not on entire face. I’ll try to do a tutorial for this too!
thanks…i am buying cosmetics for a wedding… reading ur reviews, i hav already bought infallible golden beige, but it looks dark on my skin..
although i applied very lil..but it made me look dark..is this the right shade…????
I have a fair complexion…but not extremely fair kinda…
i wanted this shiny -golden look..is this the right foundation.?
how can i make it lil less dark…i mean fair…plz help ??
And also skinlights golden light loose powder…????
Hi Erum, I’m sorry the shade doesn’t suit you but you should be more careful while buying a foundation. When I review a foundation, I am mainly talking about its texture and formula and if you like it, you should pick out a shade that suits you and the same one that I am reviewing. From what you say, it seems like the shade is not right for you. Like I said in my prev comment, to make it less dark you can mix it with a lighter foundation or dilute it with moisturizer and see if that helps.
Foundation alone cannot give you the shiny golden look, you need a highlighter or illuminator for that. You can use Revlon Skin lights loose powder after applying foundation for some glow.
I m going to end buying both beige and chocolate e/s thanks to u!
<3 it!!!! this is better for my skin tone!
Instead of Benefit illuminator, Can we use clarins complexion corrector?
Hi Prakrathi, like I’ve told you earlier, please don’t put my blog address in the ‘website URL’ field of the comment form. It is for bloggers who have their own website, if you have a blog, you can put your blog address in that space.
You could use the Clarins one but it will give a much more subtle effect. You can use any other highlighter like Colorbar Highlighting pen or MAC Cream color base in Hush/Improper copper instead.
wow… so simple and beautiful… thanks ankita for such a good detailing
