5 Skin care products I will always repurchase

5 Skin care products I will always repurchase

1. Cetaphil Cleanser

I do not remember whose review it was that introduced me to this product but who ever it was, a huge thanks to you! I started using this back when I had really troublesome skin that was prone to breakouts and completely lacked lustre. Drying anti-acne face washes didn’t help the situation and that is when Cetaphil came to my rescue. If I had to sum it up in just 2 words – its gentle and effective. And these 2 magic words are all you need in a good skin care product. I’ve been using this for over a year now as a makeup remover. I massage a good amount of it on my face for about 2-3 minutes, wipe off with a cotton pad and follow up with a face wash. It doesn’t feel harsh on my skin and removes makeup while softening the skin. If you’ve not tried this yet, you’re missing something!

I use the Sensitive skin version.

Price : Rs 115 for 125 ml

2. Lotus Herbals 3-in-1 matte SPF 40 Sunscreen

This amazing amazing product needs no introduction. It the HG (Holy Grail) sunscreen of countless women across India. The light mattifying texture, the sandalwood tint and fragrance and its sheer efficacy makes this a star product! This is what got me hooked on sunscreens! I would highly highly recommend this to all women with normal to oily skin.

Price : Rs 295 for 120 g

3. Himalaya Herbals Neem face mask

This dirty military green colored face pack contains exfoliating particles and smells strongly of neem but does a really good job of cleansing the skin thoroughly. Most importantly, it does help in reducing pimples!

Price : Rs 65 for 50 g

4. Aroma Magic Beauty Pack

This it the best brightening face mask I have tried so far. The trick is to let it dry completely which might take a while because of its waxy texture but on washing it off, you will find your skin glowing beautifully. Its great when you want a quick fix to perk up dull skin. The glow lasts for a day or two.

Price : Rs 215 for 50 g

5. Aloe Vera Gel

Ever since I’ve started using Aloe Vera gel on a regular basis, I’m seeing a new luminosity in my skin. It is natural, hydrating and soothing on the skin and best of all, suitable for the most sensitive of skins. Earlier I only used to use it when I would a breakout or rash on my skin but since a few weeks I’m using it as a night treatment and my skin really looks fabulous when I wash it off in the morning! I would recommend Brihans Aloe Vera gel. I generally keep it in the refrigerator and the cool gel feels really soothing on the skin.

I have tried the Himalaya Neem Pack and it works very well to cure and prevent pimples. The Neem face wash from their brand is good as well.
I am yet to try the Brihans Aloe Vera Gel.
Btw, very useful post for oily skinned beauties :) Do a similar post on haircare products if possible Ankita

I really like Cetaphil, but I stopped as it seemed to me that it wasn’t cleansing well enough – just a feeling – not sure if I was correct.. That AM Beauty Pack seems interesting – I’m gonna try that out :-)

I use cetaphil, neem pack and aloe Vera. But the usage way you have stated is so different:) I used cetaphil as a face wash and it broke me out badly:( cooling aloe Vera in the fridge is a good idea. Neem pack works wonders for me too. Aroma magic oxy pack also has a good effect.
