Today I’m reviewing a lovely natural shade from the Lakme Absolute Matte lipstick range ~ Peach Carnation.

Peach Carnation is a peachy brown with a hint of red that makes a great neutral shade for Indian skin tones. It might look quite nude on duskier skin tones but for me its like a flattering MLBB shade. The texture is smooth and it applies very light on the lips. It has a matte finish but its not drying and I can wear this without balm or gloss easily. The formula feels more like a creamy stain than a lipstick because its really light on the lips and not overly pigmented. Peach Carnation wears for about 4 hours on me after which it fades off slowly. I find this formula more comfortable and less drying than the Colorbar Velvet mattes though they are more pigmented than the Lakme Absolute matte lipsticks. Overall, I think its such a great shade, very versatile and natural and the formula is great as well! For a more detailed review of the formula, check my previous review.

It looks very brown on me in this FOTD but in person, it does have a peachy-ness to it that makes this shade really great!
