Awesome giveway Ankita! Adventure during sunny days is pretty less for me as i suffer from migraine but 3 years back when i was in swiss we went hiking early in morning and it was awesome..it was bright and sunny and breezy and cold at the same time…we even came to a point on the mountain where half the mountain was in sun and half covered with shadows..it was amazing!

Hey Ankita, the giveaway sounds interesting ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

My memorable sun-kissed moment has been the trip to Darjeeling and that too with my paternal grand parents.

Three of us went to Darjeeling 8 years before for about 7 days, and that was my last trip with my grandmother as she passed away after a month. But the days we spent together are worth a ton of diamonds. We went for trecking, hit each other with snow balls, dressed as the localites and enjoyed each and every moment to its fullest.

    Hope to win this contest.

My adventure in the sun would have to be this time when me and my husband went to Mauritius. It was a bright sunny day with a gentle cool breeze. We decided to ride the paddle twin-chair in the ocean near the resort itself. The weather was beautiful and we kept paddling and talking, enjoying every moment blissfully. We did not realize when we had actually paddled way out into the ocean. Only realized this because our little chair boat started to rock as the waves grew stronger. Both of us don’t know how to swim and we had no life jackets with us. Our little romantic excursion turned into me freaking out until we paddled back to a safe distance towards the shore.
Despite this we remained on the boat and kept paddling because the whole atmosphere was so nice (we did keep a check on how far we were from the shore and we would turn back every time we reached a certain rock in the ocean telling us we were far enough!) I really cherish these moments!

My ‘Adventures in the sun’ dates back to April 2011 when I faced the scorching Goa sun with my boyfriend…not to mention bravely and happily. Since it was my first trip to Goa, I had to to be brave and enjoy the beach and water sports without worrying about the tanning. What are sunscreens for after all!!
We actually played football on the beach with local kids at 2.00 pm and soaked ourselves in the scorching heat. Too much daring! By the end of the day my skin was literally 5 shades darker, tanned and burning! But oh boy! I really enjoyed every bit of Goa…. ๐Ÿ™‚

My favourite memory is when I joined college in Mangalore, our entire batch of about 200 students hits Surathkal beach, we were all being ragged by our seniors and we wanted a break from hostel. In those days, we were young and wild and free. Not to mention we had no idea about sunscreens then hehe. That day we had lots of fun and good times. ๐Ÿ™‚

my sunkissed moment was the one with my Hubby at goa. The best one was when we were at the beach and the tides were very high. I was really scared of stepping inside the water ,but Hubby kept going inside. I still remember how much courage I had to accumulate to step in cos I wanted to be sure he was safe. Tat day made me realise in true sense how much I loved him

My Sun Kissed moment was the moment when I visited Taj Mahal with my friends in April. It was a one day tour and we started at around 6 am in the morning and reached Agra around 11 am as we were traveling through our own cars and we njoyed and drived alot. When we reached, it was really hot and we needed to remove our footwear in order to enter Taj Mahal. and I remember every person was oouu oouu while walking on the marble and we were holding each other’s hand to give support and we walked together. Even though temperature was 44 Celsius and we were drenched in sweat we njoyed a lot. We also visited Fatehpur Sikri and returned back home at around 2am. It was a very nice tour with friends, loved it though we were on the road on bright sunny day with temperature at 44 degree Celsius…..

My favorite “Sun Kissed Moment” was when we had a family holiday at Munnar, Kerala. Its a hilly place so the day we reached we could hardly see anything but clouds all over. The 3rd day when we were out to see the Tea Gardens of Munnar,We were amazed to see the Bright sun rays falling on the garden and a fresh feeling evoked in all of us.our faces brightened up and we finally could enjoy the warmth in the midst of the cool breeze. It was such a beautiful sight to see the sun rays making their way through the clouds and kissing the green velvetty gardens of Munnar.

Awesome giveaway Ankita, would love to win these awesome sunscreens.
I have always been a summer child, loved everything about summers always, the ripe mangoes, the freedom to wear skirts and the summer holidays.
My sunny adventure involved going out with friends on the hottest day of the year to visit qutub minar. We just roamed around and the beauty of the place jsut blew us away. Didn’t feel a single ounce of heat and of course we were protected wth sunscreens. Remember the day till now, it’s been three years, time flies away…

In my childhood days every year during the summer holidays I used to go to the beach with my friends and one our families and have a gala time playing in the water and making sand castles till the sun decided to rest for the day. Over the years this grew thin. 2 years back before one of my friends go whisked off her feet to get married the 4 of us friends decided to make that trip to the beach again. Playing in the water, drawing in the sun, and enjoying stories of our childhood till the sun hid behind us and the stars filled the sky – Memories in the sun.

Hubby & I were honeymooning at the Taj with a view to the gr8 Taj Mahal. It was my dream to visit the Taj Mahal with my love upon our wedding glory! ๐Ÿ™‚

It was December 2010 and enitre North India was frozen with cold. We set out early in the morning to nearby Fatehpur-Sikri to visit the famous Mughal monuments & I just couldn’t bear the cold. And lo behold! Fatehpur-Sikri was bright & sunny with cold winds breezing through its way.

I enjoyed the glimmering redstone monuments under the sun & the cool sunny breeze..Our pictures too came out well owing to the sun… and I was more than happy to enjoy it – than ever before!

This is my favorite sun-kissed moment of all times in my life! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Ankita

I can vividly remember one sunny adventure and a sun kissed moment. For me the sunny adventure would be summer vacations at my granny’s place with all my cousins, trying to get half ripe mangoes from the fully laden mango tree ( that too with a home made sling shot).
Hubby and myself went boating on our honeymoon on a very calm and beautifully laid back lake, in Bled, Slovenia. The late evening sun in our face, we were rowing towards the island in the middle of the lake. There was this old old church in the middle of that small island! That evening is definitely my sunny moment.

My sunkissed moment would be when i was around 10 or 12 years, we had this huge mango tree in our garden with bunches of mangoes hanging to the ground. Plucking a mango, washing it, and eating it sitting in the shade of the mango tree is one awesome experience. My sister and I used to do this every weekend. Also, collecting mangoes in big buckets to be made into pickles was the task assigned to me and my sister.

Those 3 hours I spent roaming in the burning hot sun going through a cultural panorama was one of my best experiences till date

Memories, yeahh.. And a great Giveaway!
My most cherished memory would have to be another college day that turned out to be mine and my man’s best Date ever.
I am one of those to-myself people who remains apart from the crowd ’cause they just don’t happen to be of my upbringing and environment(they are very cheap, I don’t know why). So, after a half-day exit I started to walk upto the bus stand by myself in sweltering heat(the hottest of the month) of Jaipur. A li’l tiff with my man on my mind. That is when I thought I was being ‘followed’ and a I turned to retort I was surprised by my guy himself! He let go of his ride in his car, took the local transport(for the first time) with me..asked me to get off at a random tourist site and thrift-shopped with me and we went about in the lanes of Chaura Rasta like just-begun lovers and fdrolicking as in Fairs(/melas) and gorged away on stall snacks(which he believes in refraininh from!). Then again catching a bus we spend the afternnon ‘bus-hopping’ from different stops until at my stop. Itw as quite a scene and moment as he bid me farewell at the end of my lane to go back to his residence(which is at the opposite end of Jaipur from my place).
I’d never appreciated the efforts as I’d done this one out, to make all well..on a sweltering day as such but never breaking a sweat. And we have been going great since; I keeping in mind the small efforts he has put in to make “US” last ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope Nivea likes this shot of romance.. teehee-hee.. ^______________.^

My most cherished Sun-kissed memory is from my trip to South India. It was almost 8 years ago when I went on this tour to South India for a month with my parents and few friends on a winter vacation. It was an awesome time, fun-filled moments spent on the sea-beaches of Chennai, Madurai, Rameshwaram and Kanyakumari. We enjoyed a lot creating sand-castles, digging the sand to bring out water, writing on the sand and playing with the sand by the sea-side with my friends. We also played with the cool sea-water that touched our feet and collected the corals by the sea-side. We did not mind the heat of the sun and really enjoyed our time to a great extent by the sea-side. It is one of my best and most treasured sun-kissed moment of my life.
