Colorbar has recently launched a new rage of lipsticks called the Creme Touch lipsticks and today I’m reviewing the shade 003 Candy Rose from this range.

My take on the product

Colorbar Creme Touch lipstick comes in a silver packaging with steel grey inner tube which forms the center band when the lipstick is closed. The packaging quite simple and nothing very fancy. I don’t particularly like or dislike the packaging. It doesn’t have colored ends  like theVelvet Matte Range.

The texture of this lipstick is amazing! It feels so so creamy but not too thick or gloopy, it applies with medium coverage in a single swipe it feels very light on the lips. It is really comfortable and super moisturizing, softens the lips considerably and doesn’t stick to the dry,flaky bits. I also really like the creamy sheen of the finish, gives a natural and healthy look to the lips. It doesn’t settle into lines, doesn’t get uneven as it fades. But the best part about this is the wear time! I’ve worn it for around 8 hours and while there was a bit of fading after 5-6 hours, a soft stain was still present on the lips but hour 8. The formula really catches on to the lips but amazingly doesn’t darken to a pink stain as it fades, it stays the same with just faded intensity. While the  Take me As I am Lip color did not impress me much, the Creme Touch lipsticks are a total winner!

The shade 003 Candy Rose is a lovely soft cool toned rose shade which will look great on fair-to-medium skin tones. I generally do not go for shades this light and this cool toned but I really like this shade. If you’re someone who is into light pinks, this is a lovely shade to have! For those who like a slightly brighter color, try Nude Coral and Passionate from this range. Passionate is a bright coral pink, reminds me MAC Party Parrot and Watch me Simmer lipstick in shade (the texture is totally different!)

The GOOD about Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick :

1. Very creamy and soft in texture
2. Gives medium coverage
3. Applies evenly
4. Very moisturizing
5. Feels light and comfortable on the lips
6. Does not settle into lines
7. Lasts a long time
8. Gives a creamy finish to the lips
9. Does not cling on to dry/flaky areas of the lips
10. Contains SPF 15

Overall Verdict

Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick is a amazing creamy lipstick that feels light and comfortable on the lips and despite this, stays a long long time. It does not change color, settle into lines or cling to dry lips. It is moisturizing, softens the lips and has the added advantage of SPF 15. It is one of the best lipsticks I have tried and totally worth its price!  Candy Rose is a cool toned rose pink shade that looks great on fair-to-medium skin tones. I would highly recommend this range to everyone, it is an awesome!
