Hey everyone!

Its time to take a break from the makeup talk and time for some weekend fun! Let me show what I’ve been upto this week..

I found an amazing library near my place and this is what I’ve been reading this past week. My love for novels goes back to my school days when I would devour not only my own but my entire  friend circle’s  library book reads of the week in 3 days!

Jeffrey Archer : The Fourth Estate

Nothing makes a better companion to a good read than a bag of crunchy munchies! I’ve been  loving the Aliva Multigrain Waves in Cream n Herb flavor these days.

The Amazing Spider Man released yesterday and I caught an early show to this awesome movie. It was a really good movie and I liked the Andrew Garfield-Emma Stone pair so much more than Tobey Macquire-Kirsten Dunst! The 3D is really good especially in the aerial shots of the city! Worth a watch in the theatre!

Since so many of you liked my artwork last week, I’m sharing another pic this time of one of my watercolors. I’m wondering if I can find a spot on my kitchen wall for this one.

You made me smile when you talked about chips and books. When I was a teenager there was nothing I enjoyed more than a bag of Doritos and an Anne Rice novel. :)

I love to read books. Now that school is over, I am rotating 3 books. One is about the 6 wives of Henry the 8th, one is about discoveries made about Ancient Egypt and one is an anthropology textbook (I swear it is not as boring as I am making it seem. LOL).

Sounds great :) I’m trying to substitute chips with more healthy stuff like low-butter popcorn!

I consider myself a reader more than a movie watcher, but if it is a toss up between a great movie and an above average book, I would go for the movie.

Just finished reading What the dog saw by Malcolm Gladwell. I’m not much of a non-fiction reader, but MG is good reading for someone in my profession. Now reading or rather re-reading Wolf Hall before I pick up its sequel, Bring up the bodies.

We were supposed to catch spiderman this weekend for my son, but work cropped up :( . Am glad you recommend it because he has been worried that it wont live up to the previous ones which he adores!

And yes I need a snack when I read! Some thing crunchy and salty.

He’ll love it, some parts of the 3D are quite exciting! I’ve never read Malcolm Gladwell. The most recent non-fiction I read was Mayada by Jean Sasson. Have you read any Jean Sasson books? Most of her books are stories from Middle East based around the struggle and oppression that women face in those societies. Even though they are quite saddening, I still can’t stop myself from reading them.
