I’ve had quite a few requests for neutral eye makeup looks and today I’m doing a festive smokey metallic eye makeup tutorial using Inglot eye shadows! Hope you all like the tutorial, do not forget to drop me your comments below this post!
Products used for this look :
- NYX HD eye shadow base (Review HERE)
- Lakme Absolute Kajal
- Inglot eye shadow : 405 Pearl (rich metallic coppery brown/bronze)
- Inglot eye shadow : 409 Pearl (cool toned medium brown)(Review HERE)
- Black eye shadow from Sleek Bad Girl palette (you can use Inglot 391 matte eye shadow instead)
- Inglot eye shadow : DS 463 (beige with slight shimmer)
- L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact felt liner(Review HERE)
- Bourjois Paris Volume Glamour Max mascara
- Maxfactor eye brow pencil : Ebony
Step-by-step Tutorial :
Step 1 : Start by priming your eyes with eye shadow base. I have used NYX HD eye shadow base.
Step 2 : Apply a jet black kohl like Lakme Absolute Kajal on waterline and upper lash line as shown.
Step 3 : Using a pencil brush like MAC 219, smudge the liner applied in step 2.
Step 4 : Apply Inglot 405 Pearl eye shadow all over the lid leaving the outer corner.
Step 5 : Apply Inglot 409 Pearl eye shadow in outer corner, crease and lower lash line.
Step 6 : Using a fluffy brush, blend the brown eye shadow applied in Step 5 at the crease.
Step 7 : Apply matte black eye shadow like Inglot 391 in the outer corner of the lid, outer half of the crease and outer half of lower lash line.
Step 8 : Blend the black eye shadow applied in the previous step.
Step 9 : Apply the same black eye shadow along the upper lash line using a pencil brush. This will give a smokey dense look to the lash line.
Step 10 : Apply a very thin line of black liner (like L’oreal Paris Instant Impact Felt liner) very close to the upper lash line, wing it out if you like at the outer corner. Curl eye lashes.
Step 11 : Clean up any excess product/fallout with moistened Q-tips and finish off with a volumizing mascara like Bourjois Volume Glamour Max mascara! Fill out your brows after applying foundation and powder to the entire face.
**The first few pics appear a little cool toned as it was really cloudy when I started clicking pics. The sun came out near the very end of my tutorial hence the shades seem warmer and more metallic in the final pics!**
[note color=”#FFE4C4″]This makeup can be paired with a nude warm lip as well as a deep wine colored lip. It will go very well with Indian outfits and will look gorgeous on brides as well! I have paired it with MAC blush Sunbasque and Colorbar Creme Cup lipstick. If you’re looking to wear this look with a deep lip, L’oreal Infallible lipstick in Bold Bordeaux will work really well!
