Its time to take a break from the makeup talk and time for some weekend fun! Let me show what I’ve been upto this week..
I found an amazing library near my place and this is what I’ve been reading this past week. My love for novels goes back to my school days when I would devour not only my own but my entire friend circle’s library book reads of the week in 3 days!
Continuing with the series of MAC Permanent swatches, today I’m swatching the Silver, Grey and Black shades from MAC’s permanent range.
All the swatches are in the standard order in which eye shadows are arranged in MAC stores worldwide! All eye shadows are swatched on NC40 skin tone in both store and natural lighting. MAC eye shadow singles retail for Rs 900 and refills retail for Rs 720 in India.
8 eye shadows swatched in this post : Gesso, Forgery, Electra, Silver Ring, Print, Typographic, Black Tied, Carbon.
Its Tutorial Thursday and today I’m doing a Kareena Kapoor inspired Heavy kohl eye makeup look which is her go-to look and has been seen on her on countless occasions. Many of you had requested a Kareena Kapoor look when I had done the Aishwarya Rai look last time so I decided to do this look today.
I hope you like it! Don’t forget to leave your comments below!
I’m glad all of you are enjoying this series on Base Makeup Basics! In the previous post, I talked about the different types of concealers and how to choose the right concealer for yourself. Today I’m showing you a simple tutorial on how to apply concealers, in particular stickconcealers which can be a little tricky to blend sometimes because of their dry texture. This post also contains some general guidelines for applying all types of concealers, I hope you will find them useful!
I am using L’Oreal Paris Infallible Concelaer in 04 Golden Beige for this tutorial.
Today I’m reviewing a very special product which many of you have been requesting me to review for quite a while ~ the amazing Clarins Beauty Flash balmwhich is my absolutely favorite primer! It is a radiance boosting light-weight balm that gives dull skin a turnaround giving a luminous finish. Ideal for going out or for bad skin days, this is the one product that I think totally is worth splurging on!
