Some of you had been asking what skin care products I’ve been using lately and here’s the list :

The products 1, 2 and 3 have definitely helped in clearing my pores and I have lesser blackheads and whiteheads now. The glow my skin shows is due to the Kiehl’s Clear Corrective Dark Spot Solution which I’ve been using for over 5 weeks now, the bottle is almost finished. I haven’t used any face mask since the past few weeks but before that I was using Lakme After Sun face mask + cooling gel every evening and quite liked the after effect.

I’m still unpacking after moving which is why the face packs are missing from this list. I have only been using the essentials these past few days, sometimes skipping on toner and moisturizer and just using the Lotus Sunscreen after cleansing. I’ve also gone through my umpteenth bottle of Cetaphil cleanser and need to restock it soon. It is my favorite cleanser for removing makeup.

So this is my current skin care routine, what have you been using for your skin? Any Summer favorites?

I like Lotus Alphamoist better though Neutrogena oil free is better if you have really oily skin.

Hi Ankita,

That’s a really tempting array of products you have as a part of your daily skin care routine! Hey, I was wondering how good or bad or okay is the Chambor HydraMax Eye Renewal Cream? Does it help fade away dark circles and also diminish fine lines and crow’s feet? And how would it compare to Blossom Kochchar’s Aroma Magic Eye Cream? The two are in very different leagues price-wise and I’m counting on you to help prevent that impending hole in my wallet!

Aroma Magic one is much much better, its a little thicker but over time it helps with dark circles and makes the eye area more supple. Can’t say about it action on fine lines and crow’s feet as I don’t have much of those. Chambor one is good but not as good as the Aroma Magic one. It only keeps the area hydrated and is quite light, no other effects!
