MAC Old Gold Pigment is beautiful gold–olivegreenduochrome that flashes olive green or deep olive gold based on the lighting. The pigment is rich in color, finely milled and applies and blends with ease. You don’t need a second eye shadow with it, its looks gorgeous on its own! This is a look I tried out today using the pigment –
Eye shadows used :
Shiseido Shimmering Cream eye color : Caviar (black with flecks of green shimmer) (as base)
MAC Pigment Old Gold
MAC eye shadow : Gorgeous Gold (to highlight)
I used a cream eye shadow as base so that the pigment sticks on better to the lid. The black base brings out the smoked olive tones of MAC Old Gold. I didn’t do a neat job with the false lashes so the upper lash line hasn’t come out as clean as I would have liked! What do you think of Old Gold? Share your comments below!
