My take on the product
L’oreal Paris Color Riche lipsticks come in luxurious gold packaging that is my favorite amongst all the L’oreal lipsticks. The shade Intense Fuchsia is from the shades designed for brunettes. The cap fits into the notch in the tube with a satisfactory click and it is feels quite sturdy though there might be a little bit of melting of the lipstick inside the tube during extreme summer conditions (experienced with the shade Beige Creme).
The texture of this lipstick is amazingly creamy and yet it feels quite light on the lips. It is intensely pigmented and just a single swipe is required to give opaque color and coverage. It is quite moisturizing and lips feels soft and supple after application. It fills out the fine lines of the lips giving a smooth appearance. The lipstick feels really luxurious to apply and women with dry lips would love this product. The formula does not smear or bleed though it does transfer on contact. It has a creamy finish that gives a lovely healthy look to the lips. The lipstick is packed with pigment which stains the lips and hence the staying power is really impressive. I’ve worn this for the entire day and the stain that is left behind after full meals is quite strong and stays till the end of the day(10+hours) ! I love the face that it does not get patchy or uneven but gives a uniform stain to the lips.
The shade Intense Fuchsia :
Intense Fuchsia is the most gorgeous and universally flattering hot pink lipstick! Its neither too warm not too cool and hence I think most women can carry this well. Its a really great hot pink for duskier beauties, you can see how lovely it looks on Freida Pinto in the ad campaign! The shade has a bit of very fine shimmer that is barely visible and does not settle into lip lines or smear around the lip area. My camera makes it appear more reddish in the pics above but the swatch will give you a fair idea about the color. Its is insanely pigmented and really vibrant. You can just wear it lightly as stain using a lip brush and it will stay on the lips for a long time. Overall, this is a really glamorous shade and my top pick for a HOT Pink lipstick! Highly recommended!
