Hey everyone!

I recently picked up MAC eye shadow in Freshwater and here’s the look I tried out with it. I have paired an electric blue/green eye with  subtle coral lips and warm blush. I haven’t worn a blue eye makeup look in a long time and I really enjoyed doing it. The look is summery and the bright blue eye  adds a lot of freshness to the look.

Summary of the look :

Apply  black kohl/gel liner on lids as base, apply a dark blue eye shadow closest to lash line and a lighter bright blue on entire lid. Using a lime green eye shadow, blend out the blue in the crease, apply a gold highlighter in inner corner and brow bone. Apply kohl on waterline and smudge the lighter blue on the lower lash line. Finish off the look with mascara (you could also use false lashes). Clean up any fall out from the under eyes, apply foundation, set with powder and apply warm blush. Finish off with a natural coral lipstick/lip gloss.

Products used for this look :

  1. L’oreal Paris gel liner : Black
  2. MAC eye shadows : Gorgeous Gold, Lucky Green and Freshwater(bright summer blue)
  3. Inglot eye shadow : 428 Pearl (dark blue with pearl finish)
  4. MAC Smolder eye kohl
  5. Motives mascara + False lashes
  6. Brushes

Products used for the face :

  1. MAC Matchmaster foundation no. 3 (sample)
  2. Avon ideal shade pressed powder : light Medium
  3. The Body Shop cheek color no. 5 : Tea Rose

Maybelline Buff+MAC Cremesheen glass in Deelight is such a great lip combo for bright green and blue eye looks. I wore Buff in my Golden Olive eyes look too. What do you think of the look? Do you wear blue eye shadows ? What lip color would you pair this eye makeup with? Share your comments below!
