Classic meets modern : Red lips and Antique Gold eyes makeup look

I had the Title for this look picked out when I wore it for the L’oreal Paris- Femina Women Awards night. I liked this look so much that I re-created it one afternoon few days back to share with all of you. Its a red lips look essentially but with a bit of a modern twist on the eyes where I’ve used a good dose of heavy antique gold glitter(MAC Paint pot Genuine Treasure)! The skin is lightly bronzed with the new Illamasqua Skin Base in Au (Gold) and the lips are a dark deep red.

Summary of the look :

Mix a few drops of liquid gold/bronze highlighter with your foundation and apply it evenly on entire face and neck, apply a bronzer on the cheeks with a light hand as blush, set with powder. For the eyes, apply MAC Paint Pot in Genuine treasure all over lid thickly using a Q-tip (or use a glittery antique gold pigment), line upper lash line thickly with gel liner and finish off with mascara. Apply a deep red lipstick with semi-matte finish on the lips using a lip brush, blot and reapply to a long lasting intense finish!
