Lancome has some exciting new launches this March – the Teint Miracle foundation, Teint Idole Ultra Foundation and the gorgeous Spring 2012 collection named Roseraie des Delices.
The soft pinks and fresh mint greens are a refreshing take on Spring makeup and I absolutely loved some of the pieces from this collection. Read on for more photos and swatches..

This is a light medium coverage hydrating foundation for dry skin types that contains light reflecting particlesfor an added radiance and glow. The texture is wonderful and it feels very light on the skin. The micro light reflection particles give a lovely glow to the skin without looking overly shiny. Must-try for dry skinned ladies!
Teint Idole Ultra foundation : Rs 2800
It was available earlier in a different packaging. It has been relaunched in a new packaging and an improved formula claiming longer staying power. It is a medium coverage foundation meant for oily skin types, the texture and feel is very light and non-drying, it feels semi-matteand hence much more comfortable than a matte foundation on the skin. Available in a huge range of shades, this is a MUST-TRY for oily skinned ladies! I swatched in on the back of my hand and loved the coverage and the finish!
Lancome has a brilliant range of Red lipsticks! With my red lips love, I could not resist checking out the shades against each other, they have both sheer as well as intensely pigmented lipstick and these are just about half of them! Next on my wishlist is a red lipstick from Lancome!
It is always such a pleasure visiting the Lancome Boutique at Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel. The store staff Farah, Tushar as well the makeup artists Ajoy and Stafford are extremely helpful and attend to every query in utmost detail. Their knowledge of their product range is impeccable and they always recommend awesome products! And lastly, the Lancome product range itself is so amazing, they have a staggering number of lipstick shades and the skin care range as well the fragrances (Especially the new Midnight Rose) are wonderful!
My recommendations :
If I had to choose 3 products from the Spring collection : Roseraie des Delices they would be -
- the Green eye shadow quad – Vert Tendresse, I just loved the minty shades, the soft texture and the amazing color pay-off! There are just so many things one can do with this quad!
- The Illuminating Powder – The shades are soft and contain very fine gold illuminating particles that give a lovely radiance. The texture was soft and smooth and the shimmer understated. The peachy rose part can also be used as an all over lid color, I tried it on and it gave my lids a lovely sheen without looking overly shimmery! perfect eyes for a bold lip!
- Lipstick in Rose Candy – Gorgeous sheer candy rose shade, neither too loud nor too subtle, its the perfect shade for a fresh spring pout!
Lancome Head Makeup Artist Stafford Braganza’s tip for Spring Makeup :
Keep out the kohl and liner from your makeup bag this spring and let the eyes be clean and fresh with soft pearl finishes. If you must, use a darker eye shadow powder to just add a bit of volume to the base of the lashes but keep the waterline clean and free from kohl. Use soft pastel shades with pearl finish to add a soft wash of color to your lids. The final look will be fresh and soft like a spring blossom!

i love lancome: ) teint miracl is the best foundation ever it really looks like skin .. and i love thier skincare my current favorite is the visionnaire serum it has the most amazing scent in the world …overall i am a total lancome fanatic
Lancome products are fantastic! Yet to try a full sized skincare product but I have really liked all samples I’ve tried so far! Is Visionnaire working for u?
oh yes its quite good i use it in the night before my night cream , when i wake up my skin is bright and glowing .
rose candy is sooo sooo pretty
yes it is! I really liked it too!
I like those exact same things. But like them more in an academic way. Don’t think those colours would work for me at all. The reds are gorgeous though, let me know what you pick!
Ohh I will, I think all the things u’ve picked would work for u! btw loved the Rimmel l/s on u, u can carry fuchsias and pinks! Its just a mental block we have about shades!
Really? I thought I looked really strange in that pic, with my odd shaped eyes, looking like a nearsighted owl. I wasnt unhappy about the lippie, will ask my friend for the shade no. I had about a ton of make up on, although it doesnt show as much in that pic.
All that’s okay, that unrelated to makeup! I take so many pictures of myself many of which come out with some odd angles but then you just learn to look past that and concentrate on the makeup! Btw I checked out the Shiseido cream eye shadows today, amazing! They have relaunched it in a new packaging and the no.of shades is impressive! Lots of warm shades – gold, copper, bronze, brown etc. Gorgeous teals, greens and khakis too.
I always had a bad exp with Lancome e/s.. so I never go for their e/s but love all other prods..
Ohh thats unfortunate, which e/s was it? I ‘ve tried one of the singles and loved it!
whoaaaaaa the red lippies *_*
wow…the lip shades are amazing ankita:))) superb
Thank u Renji
