Illamasqua’s Sophie-I technique is so beautifully versatile and can be adapted into so many different looks. After trying out a steely green eye look and a citrus-y smokey eye, I decided to try out another look inspired by this technique- a blue smokey with a dash of pink!
Products used for this look :
- MAC Smolder eye kohl (my HG product for smokey eyes)
- Bright matte pink for lid, dark purply blue for outer corner and crease and light pink for inner corner (shades marked by star on Coastal Scents 88 palette)
- MAC Pigment – Naked (browbone highlighter)
- Maxfactor eye brow pencil – Ebony
- Brushes- Applicator (Sephora), smudging brush (MAC 219), Coastal Scents pointed crease brush and MAC 217 (blending)
- Konad false eye lashes with rhinestones

What do you think of this look? What outfit/lip color would you wear this look with? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

What a great look; I love the lashes! Because this eye is so bold, I would wear a sheer, natural color with it.
Excellent choice of lip color Megan, sheer natural reminds me of Bourjois lip gloss in Brun Rose Academic, would go perfectly with this!
If you must go all out go for a matte light orange lip tint on scrubbed lips! pink and orange is a sugar bomb combo! if demure it is, a nude-y gloss would go great! color blocking is the only way to go with the outfit to make the entire ensemble pop!
Your way sounds interesting, I’m gonna try it out sometime. I’m all for colors this season!
tooooooooo good ankita… btw nice change frm the green contacts
Thanks
Gosh…this looks even pretty than the last one. Only thing the blue is soo dark its looks almost black.
I used MAC Smolder as base to the blue came out darker but I enjoyed doing this a lot
Very nice. Both dramatic and subtle!
