Today I’m doing a sunset inspired tutorial with bright yellow and orange eye shadows I picked up from Inglot some time back. I’ve always wanted to try out yellow and orange eye shadows, a while back I did a look with yellow eye shadow. Here’s another way to use yellow – paired with orange for a warm tropical sunset look!
Products used for the look :
- Inglot eye shadows AMC 51(orange) and AMC 60 (yellow)
- Inglot eye shadow 409 Pearl (frosty brown)
- Bobbi Brown gel liner – Caviar Ink
- Brushes – blending brush, pencil brus, applicator brush
- False lashes (not pictured below)
Step 1: Prime eyes using an eye primer/base and set with compact
Step 2 : Apply yellow eye shadow (Inglot AMC 60) on inner corner and inner half of eye lid
Step 3 : Apply orange eye shadow (Inglot AMC 51) on outer half of the lid
Step 4 : Using a fluffy blending brush (MAC 217), blend the orange eye shadow in the crease
Step 5 : Apply a mid-tone brown eye shadow (Inglot 409 Pearl) in the crease as shown.
Step 6 : Blend the brown eye shadow with the orange
Step 7 : Apply orange eye shadow on lower lash line. Join with yellow eye shadow in the inner corner
Step 8 : Apply black/brown gel liner on upper lash line and waterline and trace the shape of the eye right till the inner corner
I have used Bobbi Brown gel liner in shade Caviar Ink and applied it right till the inner corner to shape the eye. While using very bright shades like yellow/orange/aqua/fuchsia, tracing a black outline all the way around the eye makes it more wearable. It also gives the lashes a denser look and enhances the shape of the eye.
Step 9 : Finish off with mascara or false lashes!
Pair this eye makeup with a sheer coral/peachy gloss and a peach blush. I’m wearing Faces Burnt Sienna blush along with Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in Papaya –
