My take on the product

Colorbar Just Earth is one my earliest blushes and one of the best shades for Indian skin tones. It comes in a round packaging with a transparent cover and a compartment carrying a brush and a mirror at the bottom. The packaging is not very sturdy or appealing , even though it’s a fairly reasonably priced product I feel the packaging could be a little better.

The texture of the blush is soft and slightly powdery, too much pressure of the brush can dislodge product from the surface hence one needs to be gentle. It is smooth and finely milled, blends easily to give a smooth finish. It is well pigmented and if you’re using a dense brush, you need to go easy on the product to prevent applying excess. If you’re using a fluffy brush, you don’t need to worry about overdoing it. The brush that comes with the packaging is flat and dense and not useful at all, you would most likely end up applying too much product if you use this brush. It doesn’t blend well either. I would suggest using a fluffy blush brush with this for the easiest application and blending.

It doesn’t get patchy while blending and stays even as it fades. The staying power is not very impressive, it stays about 4 hours on me and fades after that. The formula is good but not great but for the price, I’m won’t say I am disappointed!

The shade Just Earth :

Just Earth is one of the hottest selling shades from Colorbar. It’s a very versatile orangey- brown shade that gives a whisper of warmth to the face and works well for a variety of skin tones. It might look a little muddy on fair skin but for medium/dusky complexions, this is a very natural blush. The finish is matte and hence appropriate for day/work wear as well. Lighter skin tones can use this shade for contouring, its matte finish and hence works well as contour.

I would definitely recommend this shade to all medium/dusky toned women, it’s a fabulous natural blush, if you’re a beginner, it’s a very safe shade to start with especially if you like warm shades.

The GOOD about Colorbar Blush – Just Earth :

  1. Comes with a mirror/brush, useful for emergency touch ups
  2. Soft, smooth texture
  3. Well pigmented
  4. Blends easily
  5. Does not get patchy/uneven
  6. Did not break me out or irritate my skin
  7. Natural shade with matte shade – very versatile
  8. Easily available online

The NOT-SO-GOOD about Colorbar Blush – Just Earth :

  1. Packaging is flimsy
  2. Powder surface is very soft and prone to crumbling
  3. Staying power could be better

Overall Verdict

Colorbar Blush – Just Earth is a matte finish mid tone orangey-brown blush that gives natural warmth to medium/dusky skin tones. The shade is easy to wear, versatile and a good one for beginners. The formula is soft, finely milled, blends well however the staying power could be better. I don’t dig the packaging either but since its reasonably priced, I’m not complaining.

If you’re a blush beginner and are medium/dusky, this is a nice blush to start with. Do invest in a fluffy blush brush for best application.

Rating : 3.9/5

Have you tried Colorbar blushes?

dis one looks so natural on you…..i’ve wanted a matte peach blush for long and i’ve heard many bloggers praising this beauty but i was really put off by the staying power-for the price i should’n be worrying about that either:-) so for the time being i’ve settled for my nars gilda which is matte but more on the coral side…..

I have been wanting a braonzer come blush kinda shade .. does it fits into that. I had been eyeing jordana blushes but they are kind of little shimmery wondering which one to get. Could you suggest?
