MAC recently launched the Ice Parade collection which has awesome eye and lip bags at a steal price. I picked up the Eye bag in Gold Pearl which contains an eye shadow duo, a brown liner, an angled fluffy brush and a mascara, all housed in a glam silver bag!

If the actual value of the bag be calculated, it would come out to be around Rs 4800-5000. So at Rs 2400, this bag is quite a steal! The eye shadows are well pigmented and deliver good wear time, the brown kohl is soft, creamy and stays well and the mascara and brush are great. Detailed reviews will follow later but this is just an overview to let you know that the eye bag in Gold Pearl is worth it! I found the eye shadow texture better than the other 2 eye bags (Swatches of all 3 HERE).

The eye shadows :
Baby, Its Cold : Butter beige yellow frosty eye shadow – very soft and smooth and excellent highlighter.
Woodsmoke : Gorgeous teal shade with a brown base. It is shimmery and the brush packs on the shimmer well but its difficult to swatch as the fingers don’t pick up colors well. I’ve swatched it wet here to show the true color. This was the standout product for me from this bag, the shade is just beautiful! I have used it all over the lid in my Look.

Technakohl in Brown Border : Its is a basic dark brown kohl/liner. Stays on well, fades but does not smudge. Goes well with the eye shadows especially since Woodsmoke has a brown base.

Look : Used Woodsmoke all over lid, Baby its Cold..in the inner corner and brow bone, Brown Border Technakohl on waterline and lower lash line, finished off with Zoom Lash Mascara :
