Hey everyone!
Today I’m reviewing my first soap from Lush , a bundle of clean lemon freshness, the Bohemian soap.

What Lush says about the Bohemian soap :
Mind-clearing lemon soap.
Bohemian soap is one of our simplest and most beautiful creations; we make it for those with a creative streak to help them to realize their masterworks.
Citrus simplicity.
The simple mix of soap-base and lemon oil effectively cleanses and tones the skin. It remains one of the favourites of our inventors and our customers.

My take on the product
Lush Bohemian soap is mild citrus based soap with a prominent lemon scent. Like all Lush soaps, it doesn’t come with a container of its own, you need to purchase one from Lush or you can keep it any container with holes so that no water collects as Lush soaps tend to dissolve fast in water. The soap looks quite interesting and attractive – its a mild corally yellow color with some patterning inside.
It doesn’t dissolve too fast with water so one can directly use this on the body like regular soaps. The scent is not too strong or overpowering – just a like veil of lemon freshness that fades away quickly. I’d actually hoped the scent was a little stronger. It lathers with water decently but not too much. It leaves the clean, soft and smooth though not dry. I wouldn’t recommend this one fro dry skinned woman – Lush has many other options for dry skin types like Honey I washed the Kids. Overall its a very simple soap, no exfoliating bits or super fast dissolution.
If I had to describe the scent in 2 words – it would be lemon and clean. If you like clean light citrus scents, you will love this one. It is refreshing and perfect for the spring/summer!
The GOOD about Lush Bohemian Soap :
- Does not dissolve too fast in water
- Clean lemon scent- very refreshing
- Scent is mild- not overpowering
- Lathers well with water
- Leaves skin clean, soft and refreshed
- Does not dry the skin
- No preservatives – good on the skin
The NOT-SO-GOOD about Lush Bohemian Soap :
- Does not come with a container
- Scent is too mild
- Not available everywhere (though available online)
Overall Verdict
Lush Bohemian Soap is a clean lemon based soap which lathers decently with water to leave the skin clean, soft and refreshed. The scent is mild and fades away rather quickly. I personally like a little stronger scent so its a con for me while it may be a good thing for some people. I love how it makes my skin smooth and clean without drying it out, the scent is very refreshing and citrus lovers should definitely give this a try!
