My take on the product

Inglot 409 Pearl eye shadow is one of the best eye shadows from Inglot I’ve tried so far. The texture is soft and smooth, the pigmentation is quite good, it blends easily, does not get patchy and stays on well for 4+ hours without primer. Since I have oily lids, a primer is a must for me and it stays on for 9+ hours when used over a primer. There are no fall out issues though there can be a bit of fall out in the pan if too much pressure is applied since its has a soft buttery texture.

The shade is a mid toned cool brown with a hint of taupe. Its a MUST-HAVE shade in my opinion – you can do a soft smokey eye  or wear it alone on the lids, its a very soft and versatile shade. It might not show up on heavily pigmented lids but if you are using concealer on lids, there shouldn’t be any issues. Its one of the those shades that goes with everything , a perfect neutral! The pearl finish is subtle and suitable for work wear too. Pearl finish is my personal favorite from Inglot, they have the most uniform and smooth textures and blend very easily.

I would HIGHLY recommend this shade. If you’re just starting out with eye makeup, a shade like this is a great way to start! Its subtle and would go with every skin tone. Just apply a wash of this on the lid with kohl and mascara for a simple, sophisticated look!

I have worn this shade in my Lush lip tint review HERE.

Overall Verdict

Inglot’s freedom system allows one to build customized palettes and the HUGE shade selection is an eye makeup lover’s dream. 409 Pearl is a mid tone cool brown with a pearl finish that is one of Inglot’s finest. The texture is soft and smooth, the pigmentation is great, it blends easily and stays on well. The shade is perfect for everyday looks and goes with everything. A MUST-HAVE in everyone’s makeup kit, I would highly recommend this shade! If you’re a beginner, you should definitely go for this shade, one cannot go wrong with a shade like this!

The only issue I can see is that if one has very heavily pigmented lids, it might not show up well. Concealing before application should help.
