Inglot is one of my favorite brands and their Freedom System lipsticks one of best value-for-money in the market today! With a wide variety of shades priced reasonably at Rs 250 each, these lipstick pans are a must-have! Previously I have reviewed 2 dramatic shades from this range- no. 86 HERE and no. 27 HERE.
Today I’m reviewing a lovely everyday wear rosy brown shade from this range – no. 61.
Price : Rs 250 for 1.5 g
Shade no. 61 (I wish they had names instead of numbers! How does no. 61 sound compared to say Chestnut Dreams?)
This shade is a lovely brown with a hint of rosy-ness. It might not appear very appealing in the pan but on the lips, its the perfect everyday shade. Its appropriate for work wear as well and would suit most complexions though on dusky skin tones, it might appear more of a warm nude. I’m not a big fan of nudes and stay away from the lighter ones. I like my neutral lipsticks to have a hint of color so that they bring a bit of life to the face instead of washing it out!
For me this lipstick is a MUST-HAVE shade, its supremely flattering and natural and I highly recommend it to everyone!

How it looks on me :
Inglot lipsticks are super creamy and very pigmented. They are moisturizing and settle to a semi-matte finish after application. The color does not get uneven or patchy and the darker shades stay on for 7+ hours while the softer shade like the one under review stay for around 4 hours. The Freedom System allows one to experiment with colors without burning a hole in one’s pocket.
