My take on the product

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl highlighter comes in a beautiful purple and metallic pink packaging. The gorgeous packaging itself makes me feel like using it everyday! The product is contained in the cylindrical tube and on the top (inside the cover), there are perforations through which the product comes when you twist the base. The packaging is attractive as well as easy and convenient to use. You can dab the product directly from the tube onto your face or use your fingers for the same. There is an extra small transparent cap to prevent any mess in case there is a leakage during traveling etc.

The product is basically a pearl highlighter in a light creamy base. The creamy base is very light and blends very easily into the skin. Its non-greasy and doesn’t make the face oily. The pearl particles are really small so the product just imparts a beautiful luminous glow without the grittiness or sparkle or glitter. The effect is subtle so one can use it all over face or build up the intensity only on the cheekbones by applying more product. Once applied, it sinks into the skin on blending and delivers a good staying power of 7-8 hours at least. It blends very easily whether applied on moisturized skin or over foundation.

As described by Benefit, its a ‘golden pink‘ highlighter – fine gold pearl in a light pink cream base. The tinted base makes it look so much more natural than a white base and the golden pearl creates the perfect dewy glow without looking too overpowering. One can in fact use this all over the face as an illuminator. The shade is such that it works across all skin tones! Pale skinned women love it and I see that it works beautifully on my medium skin tone too. I’m sure it’ll be very flattering on dusky skin tones too because of the golden pearl. Just like the Benetint, the finish of this product is very soft and natural , it makes you look like you’re lit up from within!!

A very versatile product which works across all skin tones and can be used alone for a natural look as well – Girl Meets Pearl is a must-have highlighter for every girl!
