Lakme Absolute is finally in stores and here are the swatches of the lip products. The lip range consists of the Plump and shine 6 hour glosses, 6 in 1 Travel kit and Matte lipsticks. There are 2 other products- Lip last and creamy lipsticks that have not been launched yet. The store did not have testers for the matte lipsticks. Its quite disappointing since the products have been in store for a while now and there are no testers available for lipsticks!

So today I just have swatches of 4 Plump and shine lip glosses (2 shades not launched yet) and Lip Sync 6 in 1 travel kit.
Plump and shine 6 hours lip gloss (Rs 375)
These are sheer and shimmery lip glosses, these 2 words don’t really attract me as much as creamy and opaque but I really liked these! (Review coming up later today)

Lip Sync 6 in 1 Travel kit (Rs 875)
This compact case has 6 lip colors with a mirror and a brush. I love the concept and the fact that the shades are mix of matte and shimmery but I would have really dug this one if there were nicer shades here- a basic red is conspicuously missing! The price is on the higher side too.

I would have liked to see the shimmery light pink replaced by something more suitable for Indian skin tones, maybe a brick red!

Wow-the Lakme palette truly has beautiful colors !!! But I am not at all good with lipbrushes-so will go for the Lippys!!!
I dont think that the price is bad given that there are 6 shades, but I wish they had a better pink instead of the brown

I never trust Lakme for their lippies. And for this price, I will never dare to buy this!
Why is that? Did you have a bad experience with Lakme lipsticks?
Even though my lips are not very dry, I find these ones very drying. I like Revlon for lippies. Have a MAC matte, like it too.
