Hi everyone!
Today I’m doing a makeup look and breakdown of a classic party look – shimmery black smokey eyes paired with soft stained lips. While on most occasions one would want to pair smokey eyes with nude lips,but a little bit of color on the lips goes well with the eyes for special occasions!

Summary of the look :
Start with the eyes by smudging kohl on lid and waterline. Apply black eye shadow all over lid, layer a silvery grey shimmery shadow over it and blend at the crease. Highlight browbone, inner corner and finish with mascara.On a well moisturized face, apply foundation, set with powder and contour the face using a mauve blush , apply a soft pink blush to the apples of the cheeks. Apply a raspberry pink gloss/lipcolor lightly on the lips for a stained effect.

Neutrals (white/black/grey) or cool toned outfits – pinks, purples , even blues would go well with this look.
