Today I’m reviewing on my favorite lip glosses - Maybelline Colorsensational lip gloss in the shade Cranberry Cocktail.

Use the wand to apply lipgloss starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to outer edges of your lips, following the contour of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.

My take on the product
Maybelline Colorsensational lip glosses are one of my absolute favorite lip glosses. These come in a slim long tube packaging with a transparent body and metallic silver cap. The packaging looks quite attractive and is provided with a regular slanted sponge tip applicator. The only drawback is that the product has no brand label on it and just a tiny name label at one end which can be a little hard on the eyes to read. The applicator picks up enough product for a medium coverage wash of color on the lips, one needs to dip back into the tube for more product to get intense opaque color.
The texture of this lipgloss is non-sticky and creamy. It is quite pigmented and gives medium intensity coverage to the lips. The intensity of the color can be built up by applying more product. The texture feels really comfortable and moisturizing on the lips. While the texture and feel of this lip gloss is wonderful, the staying power is average as would be expected of a non-sticky lip gloss. It stays around 2.5-3 hours on my lips with lighter meals and gets completely wiped out with a heavier meal. Despite the average wear time, I really like these lip glosses , they are quite awesome for the price!
The gloss has a mild sweet fragrance that vanishes some time after application.

The shade Cranberry Cocktail :
Cranberry Cocktail is a beautiful muted cool toned red lip gloss. One could even call it neutral but I feel its a little cool toned as it leaves a soft pinkish red stain behind as it fades. Worn sheerly, it gives a soft red flush to the lips which is very wearable, I’ve been wearing this gloss almost everyday that way. By building up the coverage, it transforms to a glamorous glossy red which is bright but still not in-your-face bright. It contains ultra fine shimmer that is barely visible, it just adds to the shine.
I feel sheer/muted red lipsticks as well as lipglosses look beautiful on most skin tones and give that luscious flushed look. If you’ve been afraid to try reds, this shade can be a good start. The balance of cool and warm tones in this shade makes it suitable for all skin tones. I personally love reds especially sheer ones for everyday and this shade tops my list of gorgeous everyday reds.

The GOOD about Maybelline Colorsensational lip gloss Cranberry Cocktail :

Overall Verdict
Maybelline Colorsensational lip glosses are non-sticky, creamy and pigmented lip glosses that come in a variety of gorgeous shades. The formula is super comfortable on the lips and stays on for around 2.5-3 hours on the lips. The packaging is sleek and sturdy and the product is priced to fit into everyone’s budget. The shade Cranberry Cocktail is a beautiful muted cool toned red which makes a great everyday shade when worn sheerly and a glamorous yet understated red when worn to full intensity. I am hooked to this shade and reach for it ever so often!
Highly recommended for all skin tones! Maybelline Colorsensational lip glosses are a must-have!

Sugared Honey is a an everyday peachy pink brown shade with quite a lot of glaze/sheen so it doesn’t appear very vibrant.

i hv cranberry cocktail as well as hooked on pink bt it dont comes out same as yours ., it looks a bit maroonish on me…. as my lips are lightly pigmented…… bt it looks awsome on u ankita…….

My first pick was cranberry cocktail from this range.. And then I ended up buying 8 shades.. I couldnt resist myself.. but my bad luck the wine shade was out of stock.. imo every shade in this range is worth trying:-)
