My take on the product

The lipstick comes in a lovely pink metallic asymmetric tube packaging which is pretty as well as so refreshingly different! Both ends of the tube carry a colored label along with the shade number which makes it easy to locate in case one has multiple shades. Once the cap is removed, the res of the tube is silver inside. The packaging is attractive as well as quite sturdy.

The texture of this lipstick is delightfully smooth and it gives a sheer wet look in single swipe. The color can be built up in 2-3 swipes and it goes opaque enough to cover pigmented lips. It feels very light and comfortable on the lips. The finish is a glossy wet look that gives the lips a smooth fuller appearance. I love the finish of this lipstick! The formula is decently moisturizing. Due to the sheerness and glossy wet texture, it doesn’t last too long on the lips. With light meals it stays about 3.5  hours but with a meal like a Subway Sandwich, its completely gone by the end of the meal. I am not generally a fan of sheer lipsticks but I really liked the texture and feel of this one despite its not-so-impressive staying power!

The shade number 3 :

Based on the website image, the shade appeared like a deep pink but it turned out to be a soft peachy pink shade with micro shimmer. The shimmer is very fine and non-gritty. It doesn’t feel abrasive on the lips and doesn’t settle into lines or around the lip area. I do not normally go for these kind of shades as I find them a little light but I’m so glad I got this one! Worn with a softer eye, it doesn’t look quite work for me but paired with a heavier eye, it looks absolutely gorgeous! The micro shimmer and glossy wet finish give a luscious plumped appearance to the lips but without any tingling sensation that accompanies most other ‘plumping’ lip products. Women with thinner lips will love this!

I’m NC 40 in MAC and it suits me well. It might be too light for skin tones beyond NC 42. I may be appearing paler in the images because of the lighting but in fact, the shade will suit medium skin tones as well.

If you are fair/medium skin toned, this is a must-have shade for you!!

The GOOD about Deborah Milano Light Creator Shine & Volume Lipstick no. 3 :

  1. Attractive metallic pink packaging which is quite sturdy as well
  2. Colored labels on packaging makes it easy to identify shades
  3. Smooth texture that glides on the lips
  4. Moisturizing
  5. Glossy wet finish that gives volume and shine to the lips
  6. Does not settle into fine lines
  7. The shimmer is very very fine and non-gritty
  8. Lipstick feels very light and comfortable on the lips
  9. Gives medium coverage which covers pigmentation
  10. Soft peachy pink shade – can be carried easily for day as well as night time
  11. Can be ordered easily online with free shipping and cash on delivery option
The NOT-SO-GOOD about Deborah Milano Light Creator Shine & Volume Lipstick no. 3 :
  1. Wipes out completely with heavy meals. With lighter meals it stays for about 3 hours
  2. Shade will not suit very dusky skin tones

This is how it looks on me :

 Overall Verdict

Deborah Milano Light Creator Shine & Volume Lipstick are smooth textured, medium coverage lipsticks that give a luscious look to the lips with wet shine and micro shimmer particles. The pigmentation is buildable and the formula, moisturizing which gives a fuller appearance to the lips. The shade ’03′ is soft peachy pink shade with micro shimmer that’ll suit fair/medium skin tones upto NC 42 quite well.  The only drawback is the staying power which goes upto a maximum of 3.5 hours and lessens with heavy meals.

Apart from that, this lipstick is quite awesome! Highly recommended to fair/medium complexioned women.

Rating : 4/5

I am in love with the shade, sooooo pretty !! I though deborah has only red colored lipsticks, never knew about such fab shades ! Anyways ankita how many peach colored lipsticks you have ??? You love peach shade a lot I suppose !

Ohh no, I guess the Deborah Atomic Red mat name is really misleading! I actually don’t love peach shades that much – only those which have a bit of brown or pink in them. My favorites are rosy pinks! I have the maximum of those!

If you like Rosy pink shades then I will suggest you two shades which I bought recently and I am head over heels in love with them ! :p First lady and Pink Wine from Faces Moisture extreme range of lipsticks !Do try those, will suit you a lot!
