Corallista’s Beauty Tip : Curry leaves for healthy hair

 

Hi everyone!

Last time I shared a tip on how to use aspirin for pimples and acne. Today I’m sharing a tip contributed by Rekha to get healthy hair.

All you need is some curry leaves (also known as sweet neem)

Tip –

Eat 10-15 curry leaves (sweet neem) in any form (raw/cooked/powdered) twice a week. It makes hair healthier in the long run and delays greying of hair too.

    I’ve used curry leaves in coconut oil. Boil a bunch of curry leaves on coconut oil and boil just until they turn black. Let it cool and apply on hair. They make hair dark, silky and shinier.

    My mom stocks them as powder form added with some more spices, it can be mixed simply with rice or ghee with tis curry leaves powder to make an added side dish for dosa or idly’s(ya dosas & idly i’m a typical tamilian=) )

    lol this is like home for me…my mom used this on my hair and i can vouch for the below waist thick black hair (it wasnt easy) that this magic portion gave me…but for my own daughter i dont want her to grow thru that strong smell of it in the coconut oil…instead my mom’s easy way out idea…fry them in little coconut oil and transfer them to the larger portion of the coconut oil container with the rest of the oil…..let it rest in there…no smell, still the goodness of the curry leaves….
