Add oomph to your favorite products with Dermalogica skin boosters

Boosters are basically skin care products meant to renew and revive dull, dehydrated/ ageing skin or for specific skin concerns like pigmentation and acne. They are meant to be used either alone before moisturizing or mixed with moisturizer in a small amounts.

Dermalogica is a privately owned company started by Jane Wurwand in 1986 who believed in the concept of skin fitness and decided to start her own company that focussed on skin health and not on beauty.Read more about the company and its history HERE.

The following information about the Skin Renewal Booster was sent to me by PR-

There are 3 more products in Dermalogica’s range of Skin Boosters meant for different skin types and concerns. You can read about them HERE.

I have personally never come across Dermalogica products before  the following things have me interested-

– focus on ‘skin health’ and not on ‘beauty’

– they don’t use common beauty ingredients like Mineral oil, lanolin, artificial colors and fragrances that are bad for your skin

– they don’t test on animals

I’d definitely like to try out products from Dermalogica. You can locate a store in your city HERE.

    1. That is cos they are more specific than generic products – to address specific concerns like ageing skin, sensitive, acne prone skin.

  1. What have you used of Dermalogica, meaning have you personally used anything specific for acne? I do not mind spending the moolah as long as it worth it. There are very few Indian reviews about this brand.

    1. I’ve not personally tried anything from Dermalogica yet Scented-willow. I want to try a smaller travel pack maybe if they offer it in their stores.

      1. Hi again there! I purchased this today. Hope it works well for me. I am surprised that they did not give you a free sample of this product for review……I thought that is what these companies do.
This works as good as a travel size pack……I think it IS a travel size pack. It is just 30ml and comes in a teeny weeny bottle that easily fits into the palm of your hand…..that small! 🙂
If this works for me, I plan to get other products of their range. I have sent an enquiry if they give out free trial samples before I invest my moolah.
