1. Do you raid the kitchen for beauty fixes?
I used to when I was younger though not so much anymore. But I have plans to start using an DIY pack for my hair. I had tried it a couple of times in the past and it worked quite nicely for my hair.
2. What are you craving right now?
I’ve been craving Indo-Chinese food the entire past week for some reason. I attempted to make some Fried Rice mid-week which turned out okay. Quick recipe is on my Instagram.
3. Have you ever had a bad reaction to a beauty product?
I don’t break out generally to products but the Chambor White Sun Protector broke me out (thankfully not too badly). It also made my face really greasy and white and I never used it after the first 2 tries.

This week’s favorites are a colorful and fun bunch! Brands featured in this week’s Friday favorites are Guerlain, MAC, Benefit, Orly and Revlon!
Guerlain Meteorites Pearls (02 Pink Fresh)
I’ve been using these on and off for a while but I didn’t quite appreciate how lovely these are till now! I know many of you have been a little confused about how to use these. This is basically a highlighting powder and you just take a fluffy brush, swirl it around in the tub containing the pearls and apply it to the skin. The brush picks up the highlighting powder from the surface of the pearls when you swirl it in. I find this works best as a highlighter on the high points of the face giving a very natural and beautiful glow to the skin. One of the best ways to fake a good skin day! Price : Rs 2900
MAC Impassioned Lipglass
I love bright hot pinks and Impassioned is one I treasure a lot! I believe this was limited edition along with Girl About Lipglass though I don’t remember which collection it was. The lipglass formula is quite sticky but very pigmented and long lasting so I don’t particularly mind. The color is the perfect juicy hot pink that I have been craving this season and I loved wearing it this past week! Price : Rs 1150.
Benefit Cha Cha Tint
I’ve wanted this since a long time because its such a beautiful coral color! I picked this up as part of the Benefit Go Tropicoral Kit from Sephora and this is easily my favorite piece from the kit. The formula is runny (but creamier and less runny than Benetint), very pigmented and I personally love it on my cheeks! On my lips, it doesn’t quite show very well as I have slightly pigmented lips but on the cheeks, its stunning! I think I’ll be using this a lot over the summer!

I recently saw the trailer of Alia Bhatt‘s upcoming movie 2 States (which I know many of you are very excited about!) and I really liked her makeup. I’m not a regular black kohl/kajal wearer but I thought her look was lovely – a little sultry with the kohl but balanced out with the natural cheeks/lips. Its a really wearable and fresh look overall for Indian girls! Here’s my attempt at recreating the look -
